The Ultimate Festival Wardrobe
Ah, festivals. Combining our love of fashion and music, we love that the festival season lasts all year long. From locals Future Music Festival, Groovin’ The Moo and Splendor In The Grass to the huge number that take over Europe in summer, there’s a line-up to suit just about anyone. But what should you wear? Having done our fair share of festivals here at Stylizen, we bring you the first of our two part ultimate festival guide.
Festival fashion is all about striking the right balance between style and practicality, so embracing the boho chic look is the perfect way to ensure you’re on trend and able to last the festival. Denim cut-offs are a must-have staple and extremely versatile if your festival goes for a few days – plus they’re one of the few items that actually look better the more worn in they are! A lacy white blouse a la Vanessa Hudgens at Coachella is easy to wear and provides a great base for some striking accessories. We love this gold and turquoise cuff and fringed studded bag – just the right side of hippie!
Just as the days can be boiling hot, the temperature after the sun sets can drop dramatically. Don’t get caught out – having this season’s key item, a printed kimono, in your bag means you’ll be warm AND looking effortlessly chic. Add a pair of low cowboy boots, a tan fedora and a pair of statement sunnies and you have the perfect festival outfit.
